If you read this blog regularly you know we feel social media sites with an audience are highly valuable promotional opportunities, but never to be confused with our own brand!

We love having a presence in Twitter & Facebook, but our goal is to establish a long term connection with clients & prospects here at this site. It’s where our brand lies, where all our content is carefully organized, will remain organized and it’s where we present ourselves the best. And, unlike in those networks, it’s an environment we can control… for the long term!

Leanne Hoagland-Smith’s piece, ‘Social Media: Is It Right For You?’ in Northwest Indiana’s Post Tribune lends some useful insight for those jumping on to this marketing bandwagon.
