1. Identify - Who is your target audience - who is your ideal online customer?  Make a list.
2. Brainstorm - What are the interests of your target audience?  What kinds of questions do they look to Google for answers about?  Make a list.
3. Plan - Come up with a content plan for your first thirty days and make a calendar.  Stick to your schedule!
4. Execute - Create specific, value-added content (blog posts) that provides relevant answers to your client questions list.  You can’t connect with that potential client unless your content is a fitting match for the questions they ask of the search engine.
5. Relax - There is very little ‘magic’ in finding favor with the search engines.  If you consistently think about how you can provide a better online user experience and how you can offer value-added content on a regular basis, search engines will naturally reward you in time.  If it’s good for your reader, it’s good for you!
